As long-term partner of the Drift Masters GP in Poland and EPOS designed a watch especially for this sport event. The EPOS Sportive Drift Masters GP 3433 is a special edition Chronograph, equipped with the most high end components and therefore earned the distinction of the EPOS watch of the month in October.
The colorful look stems from the three official colors of the Drift Masters GP black, white and yellow. Its black sandblasted dial is resembling the structure of a racetrack, reminding of the drift races’ power, burning rubber, smoke above the asphalt. The second hand of the chronometer is colored in a bright yellow, whereas the inner part of the hour and minute hand is white and the outer part has a distinctive carbon look. The bright yellow color of the second hand continues on the outer part of the dial and rubber strap, giving the timepiece a unified image. At night the white part of the hands and indexes reveal their inserted luminary.
On the dials’ right side, below the applied EPOS Logo with silver lettering, is the day of the week and month indication. The complication is housed in a slightly protruding, very precise macro frame.
To even better highlight the exclusivity of this watch, it is limited to only 100 Pieces worldwide. Further it’s only available in Poland, the motherland of the European drift race community.
The smaller subsidiary dials of the Chronograph are positioned at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. The subsidiary dials are lowered one level to the main dial, slightly confering a two-dimensional look.
On the Case Back is the fine engraved logo of the Drift Master GP on a rugged stainless steel material. Behind it works the high end ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic movement with 28 800 swings per hour and 25 jewels.
The solide Stainless Steel case is supporting the timepieces’ water resistance up to 100 Meters. The cases’ diameter measures 43.5mm and the height 14.5mm. Its Saphire Crystal Glas is eqipped with anti-reflective coating inside.
